Arooga’s Set for Grand Opening of 10th Central Pennsylvania Location, and the first 100 Guests to Receive Free Wings for a Year

Lancaster, PA  (  Even though they have grown beyond PA’s borders, Arooga’s is making sure its fans in Central Pennsylvania know it hasn’t forgotten its home.

Arooga’s Grille House & Sports Bar, the Central Pennsylvania born and based full-service casual dining restaurant is bringing its world-class brand to Lancaster when it opens its doors Thursday, September 3rd at 11 am. The region’s top sports bar will add more than 100 jobs to Lancaster County, and the first 100 guests in line, and 10 others selected in a drawing, will receive Arooga’s award-winning wings for a year for FREE.

Arooga's Lancaster Grand Opening | Press ReleaseOf course, the national award-winning Arooga’s brand – most well-known for being selected as America’s Next Top Restaurant Franchise — is bringing all of the goods that made it famous: more than 100 large-screen HD TVs with almost every sports package available, a huge beer list with 40 drafts including tons of craft selections, hand-crafted cocktails including its signature Aroogarita made with 100% real juice sour mix and hand-muddled mojitos, plus 30 wing sauces to its more than 9000 square-foot location at 125 S Centerville Rd., Lancaster, Pa 17603.

“Lancaster is a great town with a wonderful history, not only in Pennsylvania but America. It is a town with a great business climate, and a distinct local community, and we’re super excited to finally be a part of this awesome city,” said Gary Huether, Jr., president of Arooga’s, which he co-founded in nearby Harrisburg in 2008. “ It’s been a long time coming, and we’re finally ready to show Lancaster what the Arooga’s brand is all about, and we can’t wait to open the doors and reward our first fans with free wings for a year.”

The new restaurant will also feature a huge patio seating area with fire pits, dining rooms furnished with tables manufactured from repurposed wood and of course, its diverse and amazing menu featuring cooked-to-order items such as Arooga’s signature crab pretzel, antibiotic, hormone and steroid-free Wagyu Kobe Burgers and many scratch-made appetizers. Arooga’s menu also includes numerous gluten-free options and many of its selections are made with fresh ingredients.

Arooga’s grand opening starts at 6 am on Thursday, when guests can begin lining up for their chance to win free wings for a year (5 free wings per week for one year, restrictions apply). The first 100 in line receive the prize (they must stay in line until the doors open at 11 am to receive the prize). The remaining guests in line will be entered into a drawing to win the same prize, so 110 total winners overall. There will be a live radio remote to keep everyone entertained from 8 am – 11 am, other prize drawings throughout the morning, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony at approximately 10:50 am.
